4.2.9 “Applications” Menu

This menu is only shown if the system administrator has set up additional pro-
gramme packages for your communications system and you have the user author-
isation to use these programmes.

Voicebox

: This menu is only available to you if the “

OpenVoice

” programme

package has been installed in your communications system and if the system
administrator has configured a voicebox for you. See the “OpenVoice 200 – The
Voice-Mail System in the OpenCom 100 Communications System” user guide for
further information.

Server menu

: Your communications system can also be extended via third-party

programmes. It is possible to use individual functions of these programmes with
your system telephone. The

Server menu

menu entry will be offered to you in this

case. For further information, please consult the respective programme documen-
tation.

4.2.10 “Central settings” Menu

In this menu you can define rules and settings for the time management of your
system.

The

Time control

menu item is available if the user group of your telephone has

been granted “Time control” in the Configurator. The

Date/Time

menu item is

available if the user group of your telephone has been granted “Configurator –

Expert” in the Configurator. If you do not have either of these authorisations this

menu will not be displayed on your telephone.

Time control

: In the OpenCom 100 several time groups can be configured.

Depending on the activated time group, incoming calls are signalled on dif-
ferent telephones. Switching between these time groups can be done man-
ually or automatically, in this case according to a timetable configured by the
system administrator.

Select

Automatic

to activate automatic time control. The configured time

groups then change automatically according to the timetable configured by
the system administrator. This setting remains active until one of the available
time groups is set manually.
