Message Waiting
You can send announcements to any subscriber of the communication system which indicates that
a specific call number should be called in order to retrieve a waiting message. Message announce-
ments can be "sent" from external computers, a voicemail system or from an authorised telephone.
The call number that should be called back will be entered in a list from which direct dialling is pos-
sible. Deletion privileges are regulated through authorisation. The following options can be configu-
red: deletion only by the sender, by the sender and the receiver, after the subscribers have telepho-
ned with each other or when more than four entries are listed.
Message waiting will be signalled as a call at the other telephone for approx. 10 seconds. "Message
waiting" is shown in the display. Check the Info List (see page 51) to see if there are entries in your
message waiting list.
