Private households - Information on Disposal for Users of WEEE
This symbol on the product and / or accompanying documents means that used electrical and electronic
equipment (WEEE) should not mix with general household waste. For proper treatment, recovery and
recycling, please take this product to designated collection points where it will be accepted free of charge.
Alternatively, in some countries, you may be able to return your products to your local retailer upon
purchase of an equivalent new product.
Disposing of this product correctly will help save valuable resources and prevent any potential negative
effects on human health and the environment, which could otherwise arise from inappropriate waste
handling.
Please contact your local authority for further details of your nearest designated collection point.
Penalties may be applicable for incorrect disposal of this waste, in accordance with you national legislation.

EU Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive:
In August of 2005, the European Union (EU) implemented the EU WEEE Directive 2002/96/EC and later the
WEEE Recast Directive 2012/19/EU requiring Producers of electronic and electrical equipment (EEE) to
manage and finance the collection, reuse, recycling and to appropriately treat WEEE that the Producer
places on the EU market after August 13, 2005. The goal of this directive is to minimize the volume of
electrical and electronic waste disposal and to encourage re-use and recycling at the end of life.
DESīN LLC has met its national obligations to the EU WEEE Directive by registering in those countries to
which DESīN LLC is an importer. DESīN LLC has also elected to join WEEE Compliance Schemes in some
countries to help manage customer returns at end-of-life.
If you have purchased DESīN LLC -branded electrical or electronic products in the EU and are intending to
