ATTENTION!
Before performing the final cut, always check to see if there are unauthorized people, animals,
or objects in the work area.
Final cut
Use wood or plastic wedges (A) to prevent the guide bar and chain from seizing (B) in the cut. The wedges also
control the felling (Pic. 16).

When the barrel diameter is greater than the guide bar length, two slices are performed, as shown in Pic 17.

ATTENTION!
During the final cut, when the chainsaw approaches the uncut part of the trunk, the tree will
begin to fall.
When the tree begins to fall, remove the chainsaw from the cut, stop the engine, lay the chainsaw on the
ground, and leave the zone of the intended exit path. Perform all actions promptly, without delay.
Pruning branches
ATTENTION!
Do not trim branches while standing on the trunk. This could result in serious personal injury.
Pruning of branches is made from a fallen tree. Do not cut branches that support the trunk and do not allow it
to slide (A) until you cut the trunk (Pic. 18).
Branches exposed to external loads should be cut from the bottom up to avoid jamming the chainsaw.
