5.2 Program type (figure 31)
Select from the displayed possibilities by pressing the appropriate sensor button, e.g. individual
programs. After selecting the desired program type, the furnace changes to the next screen:
5.3 Program list (figure 32)
Use the buttons “
A
” and “
Y
”
on the sensor bar on the bottom of the screen to scroll the
program list.
Press the button “NEW” to create a new program. The furnace changes to this screen:
5.4 Text input (figure 33)
Use the characters to enter the desired program name, e.g. “Test”. The entered text is display-
ed in the text window. “Use the return” button “

” enter a line break for double-spaced names.
Complete the entry by pressing “

” The furnace changes to the next screen. Different charac-
ters are available, depending on the selected language.
5.5 Firing parameters (figure 34)
Numerical values are entered with the numeric keypad.
Note:
For time data, the colon (:) between minutes:seconds and hours:minutes is a
default setting and needs not to be entered separately. Enter a time of 3 minutes and 20 se-
conds as 0320.
Note:
The program name can be changed afterwards with the sensor button “Name”.
5.5.1 Set preheating temperature
Press the relevant yellow sensor button. Enter the temperature value with the numeric keypad,
e.g. for 500 °C enter the value 500.
5.5.2 Set predrying time
(firing chamber in upper end position)
Only used for low-temperature drying for an extended period. During this drying phase, the
firing chamber remains in the upper end position.
5.5.3 Set drying time
Press the relevant yellow sensor button. Enter the time value with the numeric keypad, e.g. for
6 minutes enter 0600 (see section
6.13
).
5.5.4 Set preheating time
Press the relevant yellow sensor button. Enter the time value with the numeric keypad, e.g. for
3 minutes enter 0300.
5.5.5 Set vacuum level
Press the relevant yellow sensor button. Enter the vacuum level with the numeric keypad, e.g.
for 50 hPa enter the value 50.
5.5.6 Set heating rate
Press the relevant yellow sensor button. Enter the heating rate with the numeric keypad, e.g.
for 80 °C/min enter 80. In other firing modes, the heating rate can be time-controlled.
