Issuing commands from PC, etc. allows you to set the read status and read codes.

Standby for reading:
When QK11-U receives “Z” command, it will stop reading
and enter the reading standby status.
R (Note 1) None
Start of reading:
When QK11-U receives “R” command, it will enter the
reading enable status and start to read codes.
S OK/NG To specify the codes to be read (see the table below for
parameters)
LA OK/NG Automatically controls on/off of illumination LED.
LR OK/NG Always turns illumination LED on during reading operation
(turns it off in reading standby status).
LZ OK/NG Always turns illumination LED off.
PW
(Note 2)
OK/NG Stores in flash memory the status designated by control
command. Without this command, the status set by a
command will be reset whenever power is turned off.
VER Ver.n.nn To confirm version n.nn: Version No.
Note 1: Reading enable status when power is turned on.
Note 2: Do not turn power off until the OK/NG response is received after the PW
command has been transmitted.
