11. Transport and Storage 

 
In order to avoid fuel leakage during transport and storage, please close the fuel tap and place the 
generator at an elevated level. Fix the generator with the fixing brake at the wheel and pull the ignition 
key. 

Warning! 

Please pay attention to the following notices during transport: 
 

  Do NOT overfill the gas tank (there should not be any gas in the upper area of the tank). 

  Do NOT operate the generator in a truck or in another vehicle, but only on firm ground at a 

well-aerated location. 

  Protect the generator against sun during transport; because in a closed container the high 

temperatures may lead to gases and catch fire. 

  Do not transport the generator over uneven streets for longer periods of time; if this is 

unavoidable, please empty the gas tank completely. 

 
Prior to a long-term storage of the generator: 

 
1.  Ensure that the storage place is dry and clean. 
2.  Empty gas tank completely
