Warning! 

  Never use gasoline or inflammable solvents to clean the air filter; this could cause fire or 

explosion. 

a)  Loosen the screws of control element and take off this cover. 
b)  Loosen the butterfly screw at the top of the air cleaner housing and take off the cover. 
c)  Thoroughly wash the air filter with warm soapsuds and rinse, or clean with non-combustible 

solvent or solving agents with high flash point. Let dry. 

d)  Replace air filter and panelling of the air cleaner. 
e)  Tighten screws of the panelling of the air cleaner.

3.  Maintenance of the spark plug 

 

Use only an original high-quality spark plug. 
To ensure smooth operation of the engine, the spark plug must be free of sediments and the electrode 
intervals must be adjusted correctly. 

 

1.  Remove cover of the spark plug. 
2.  Remove sediments off the spark plug. 
3.  Remove spark plug with a spark plug spanner.
