Safety notices
Defect and liability claims
In the event of personal injury and/or material damage, defect and liability claims against DENIOS shall be excluded if
they result from one or more of the following causes:

Incorrect use

Improper assembly, commissioning, operation, or maintenance

Ignoring the notices in this operating manual

Operation with defective safety equipment or improperly installed or non-functional safety and protection equipment

Product used despite defect

Improperly performed repairs

Vandalism

Catastrophes caused by foreign objects and acts of providence/force majeure

Conversions performed on product at own risk
Observe the following safety notices for use in EX zones:

When handling, storing, and transferring of substances that could create an explosive atmosphere, observe the
requirements of ATEX Directive 1999/92/EC. Depending on the EX zone, take measures that prevent ignition in an
explosive atmosphere.


Intended use
The spill sumps/shelves are suitable for the configuration and storage of containers that contain all water hazard classes
and class H224, H225, and H226 flammable, readily and highly flammable liquids. The containers must be made such that
they comply with the relevant provisions of traffic law.
The spill sumps/shelves must only be used and applied within the limits of performance listed in Section 3.1 Technical
specifications.
Mobile spill sumps/shelves are suitable for transport on company premises.
NOTICE
Only the conductive versions of mobile spill sumps/shelves are suitable for use in EX zones.
Observe the supplements to the EX zone and safety notices listed in this operating manual.
Operator duties
All persons who are involved with the operation, maintenance, and repair of the product must have read and understood
the operating manual.
Without permission of the manufacturer, the product may not be modified, added to, or converted. The warranty and
liability shall expire for modifications made without the permission of the manufacturer.
The national provisions and safety regulations must be observed.
