INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
WARNING! The surfaces of the appliance are liable to get hot during use and will stay hot for some time after operation. Only
touch the appliance by the handle. Keep the bristles, brushes and air outlets (including the insulation tip) well away from your
body or head skin and do not keep them on your hair for too long.
NOTE: Always ensure your hair is clean and tangle-free before using the appliance.
NOTE: Always ensure the bristles, brushes, air outlets and air vents are clean and free of blockage, e. g. lint, hair or other objects.
NOTE: To avoid overheating and ensure performance, check the air outlets and air vents for blockage regularly and clean them accordingly,
if necessary.
— Ensure the operating switch is in position
0.
— Connect the appliance to the power supply.
— Rotate the operating switch to select the desired setting (
I: 45 °C / II: 80 °C / III: 135 °C).
— The appliance switches on and the temperature of the bristles starts to increase instantly.
— After the bristles reach the set temperature, the bristles stop heating up.
— Divide the hair into equal strands, preferably approx. 5 cm wide and 5 mm thick.
— Hold the appliance on the handle with one hand and the strand of hair with another hand.
— Brush the strand of the hair from the roots to the tips in a gentle and slow motion. To achieve the best styling / straightening result,
ensure the hair strand gets deep into the inner areas of the bristles and close to the air outlets. Make sure not to keep the bristles and
air outlets on your hair for too long.
— Repeat the same operation for the other strands of the hair.
— Let the hair cool down before styling / straightening it further.
— When the operation is finished, rotate the operating switch to the position
0 to switch off the appliance.
— Disconnect the appliance from the power supply. Place it on a heat-resistant surface or hang it onto a hook to let it cool down.
CLEANING
— Before cleaning, unplug the appliance and let it cool down completely.
— Do not clean the appliance with steel wool, strong chemicals, alkali, abrasive or disinfecting agents as they may damage its surface.
— Do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquids to clean it. Make sure that the electrical parts do not become wet or damp.
— Remove any hair left on the appliance, bristles and brushes, especially on the air outlets and air vents.
— Clean the appliance with a soft damp cloth and, if necessary, a little mild detergent. Wipe with a dry soft cloth.
— The appliance may only be used again after it is dried completely.
STORAGE
— Before storage, always make sure that the appliance is completely dry and cooled down.
— Store the appliance in a cool, dry place, protected from moisture and out of the reach of children.
