7. Turn the table assembly tabletop down and remove the knuckle (F) Fig. 5 from the table assembly. Use the supplied
12 mm hex wrench to loosen and remove the socket head cap screw (G) and flat washer to disassemble knuckle
from the table.
8. Remove the collar (H), Fig. 6. Use the included 3 mm wrench to remove set screw (I). Then remove collar and rack
(J) from the column.
9. Place flat washer on worm gear (K) Fig. 7 and insert gear from inside to out at hole (L) in the knuckle.
NOTE:
Do
not clean the grease off the worm gear.
10. Install table raising and lowering handle. First, loosen set screw (M) Fig. 8 on crank and place onto worm gear (K).
Be sure the set screw is oriented to contact the flat on the end of the worm gear. Thread handle (N) Fig. 9 into crank
as shown. Tighten handle (N) on the flats with a 14 mm open end wrench.
11. Orient rack (J) Fig. 10A into knuckle and onto the worm gear as shown, with wide blank section oriented up.
12. Slide the knuckle and rack onto column and set the bottom of rack in between column and base as it was before.
Secure rack with collar and tighten set screw, as shown in Fig. 10B.
