Note
: You need sufficient flight altitude for a
360° somersault (at least 10 metres).
Setting the speed (Fig. N)
You can adjust the flight speed by repeatedly
pressing the throttle (2c) on the remote control (2).
The default setting is speed 1, from a total of three
speed levels.
Speed 1
(beep sounds once)
For first attempts with little flight experience.
Speed 2
(beep sounds twice)
For pilots with some experience.
Speed 3
(beep sounds three times)
For very experienced pilots.
NOTE:
When the remote control is turned
off and on again, the drone ball (1) is at
speed 1.
Calibration
It can happen that the drone ball (1) flies errati-
cally and must be calibrated. Proceed as follows
to do this:
1. With the drone ball (1) switched on, place it on
a horizontal, level surface.
2. Turn on the remote control (2) and slide the
throttle (2c) all the way forwards and then all
the way back to make the drone ball (1) ready
to fly.
3. Slide the throttle (2c) and the control lever (2d)
on the remote control (2) back to the right at the
same time. The LED navigation lights (1e) of the
drone ball flash for approx. 3 seconds. Once
the LED navigation lights shine continuously, the
calibration is complete and the drone ball is
ready to fly.
NOTE:
Repeat the calibration if the drone
ball is still flying erratically in one direction.
Ending the flight
After the drone ball (1) has landed safely, switch
it off properly.
1. Slide the throttle (2c) back.
2. Slide the on/off switch on the drone ball (1i) to
the OFF position.
3. Turn off the on/off switch (2b) on the remote
control (2).
Rotor protection
The rotor protection (1a) acts as protection
against injuries (e.g. cuts, skin injuries or eye
injuries) and to protect against or in the event of
collisions. These are preassembled. After fitting
the rotor guards (1a), check them for function and
firm fit.
WARNING:
Never operate the drone
ball (1) without the rotor protection (1a)!
Do not remove the rotor guards (1a) arbitrarily so
as not to endanger yourself, and/or other people
and animals.
Cleaning, repair and storage
The drone ball must always be kept dry and rid
of possible dirt such as wool threads, hair, dust
etc., after each flight. Use a dry cloth to dry it
and avoid contact with water on the electronics,
rechargeable battery and motor.
Store the drone ball in a dry dust-free location
away from direct sunlight. Ensure a storage
temperature of 15 °C to 25 °C.
Turn off the drone ball. Remove the batteries (5)
from the remote control.
Replacing the rotor blades (Fig. F)
Replace the rotor blades (A/B) once they are
damaged.
NOTE:
There are two different kinds of rotor
blades. The (A) rotor blades are right-turning and
the (B) rotor blades are left-turning. Highlighted in
grey in the instructions to illustrate this better.
Both kinds have markings on the upper side (A
and B), which must be observed when replacing
and which must match the markings on the drone
ball (1).
WARNING:
If the rotor blades are
damaged there is a danger that material
parts could detach during use and endanger or
damage the environment.
Proceed as follows when changing a rotor blade:
1. Hold the nut under the respective rotor blade
with the open end spanner (7).
2. Turn the broken rotor blade to remove it from
the drone ball (1).
