Adequate ventilation must be provided in rooms in which the heater is used. This ensures removal
of the products of combustion and allows the entry of replacement air. Adequate ventilation
should considerably reduce the possibility of condensation occurring. Never use in bedrooms,
bathrooms or when asleep as adequate ventilation cannot be assured. Do not use in rooms small-
er than, 18 sq metres. Ensure ventilation is more than 75 cm
2,
ie. window must be open in room
which heater is being operated.
Ensure that the heater is kept free of dust. When not in use the heater should be covered and
stored in a dust-free place. Stains on the exterior should be removed with a soapy solution when
the heater is cold. Dry with a polishing cloth, do not use abrasive cleaners which will damage the
paint finish. Refer any maintenance to your local authorised service agent. Servicing should be
carried out carried out regularly. If in doubt contact your local authorised service agent.
The grille on this appliance conforms to the requirements of the gas Association of NZ and satis-
fies the heater appliances (fireguards) regulations. The grille, which can be hot to the touch, is to
prevent risk of fire or injury from burns and no part of it should be removed. It does not give full
protection for young children, the infirm or animals. Do not use with unsupervised children or
infirm persons.
