3. Install the support rails in the rack (see Figures 1-17 and 1-18) :
a. Insert the first support rail into the rack such that the taller end of the support
rail is closest to the front vertical rail.
b. Position the support rail so that its lower edges are aligned with the marks
on the vertical rail that you made in step 1.
c. Secure the support rail to the rack’s front vertical rail:
— For a DAE , use one M5 Phillips-head pan-head screw and one M5 flat
metal washer (see Figure 1-18). Only two of the four holes in the sup-
port rail will align with holes in the vertical rail; install the screw and
washer in the
lower of these two holes.
— For a DPE , use two M5 Phillips-head pan-head screws and two M5 flat
metal washers (see Figure 1-17).
