Installing the 800-W SPS Tray Hardware
1. Install the two cage-nuts used to secure the back of the tray to the rack’s back
vertical rails at the back of the rack cabinet.
2. Install the 10-32 cage-nuts at the two locations you marked on the back vertical
rails:
a. Position the cage-nut and cage-nut tool as shown in Figure 1-7.
b. Push in on the cage-nut while rotating the cage-nut tool up and pulling the
tool back toward you until the top lip of the cage-nut snaps into position (see
Figure 1-7).
c. Repeat steps a and b to install the remaining cage-nut on the other back ver-
tical rail.
3. Install the 800-W SPS tray in the rack (see Figure 1-13):
a. Insert the tray into the back of the rack cabinet.
b. Slide the tray into the rack so that the tabs on the lower back of the tray
flange mount in the back vertical rails when the holes in the back tray mount-
ing flange align with the cage-nuts.
