LSI 9260-8i RAID Battery (Optional) 

Removing the LSI 9260-8i RAID Battery

NOTE: The information in this section applies only to systems intalled with the LSI 

9260-8i card.

Recommend to turn off the system, including any attached peripherals, 
and disconnect the system from the electrical outlet. 

2

 

Remove the system-board assembly. See “Removing a System-Board 
Assembly” on page 115. 

3

 

Disconnect the cable connecting to the LSI 9260-8i card. 

4

 

Press the LSI 9260-8i RAID battery latch and lift the RAID battery to 
release it from the LSI 9260-8i RAID battery carrier. See Figure 3-15. 

5

 

Slide and lift the LSI 9260-8i RAID battery away from the LSI 9260-8i 
RAID battery carrier. See Figure 3-15.
