Replacing the Palm Rest

1.

Align the palm rest with the computer base and gently snap it into place.

2.

Reconnect the power/keyboard device status light, touch pad, and display hinge cables to the respective system board connectors.

3.

Replace the two screws on the top of the palm rest.

4.

Turn the computer over and replace the 13 screws in the computer base.

5.

Replace the display assembly (see

Replacing the Display Assembly

).

6.

Replace the memory modules (see

Replacing the Memory Module(s)

).

7.

Replace the card in the 3-in-1 card slot.

8.

Replace the WLAN card (see

Replacing the WLAN Card

).

9.

Replace the hard drive (see

Replacing the Hard Drive

).

10.

Slide the battery into the battery bay, until it clicks in place.
