Steps
1
Align the slots on the PIB with the standoffs on the system and slide the PIB into place.

Using Phillips #2 screwdriver, tighten the two screws to secure the PIB to the system.
3
Route the cables and connect them to the system board and backplane.

Control panel
A control panel allows you to manually control the inputs to the server.
Your system supports:
•
Left control panel: Contains status LEDs, system ID button, and iDRAC Quick Sync 2 (optional).
•
Right control panel: Contains power button, USB 2.0 port, micro USB for iDRAC Direct, and status LED for iDRAC Direct.

NOTE:
Ensure that you note the routing of the cables as you remove them from the system board. You must route the
cables properly when you replace them to prevent the cables from being pinched or crimped.
