Right-click the disk and select New Simple Volume .
4. In the New Simple Volume wizard, click Next .
5. In Specify volume size in MB , use the default disk size, and then click Next .
6. In Assign Drive Letter or Path , select Do not assign a drive letter or drive
path , and then click Next .
7. In Format Partition :
a. Select Format this volume with the following settings .
b. Select the following settings:

File system
—
NTFS

Allocation unit size
—
64K

Volume label
—
Quorum
c. Select Perform a quick format .
d. Click Next .
8. In the Completing the New Simple Volume wizard, click Finish .
9. Repeat the preceding steps to create the second volume for storing the VHD files
of the VMs.
Management cluster configuration checklist
Ensure that the following management cluster configuration tasks are complete:

Windows Server 2016 is installed on the management servers.

Hyper-V is enabled and failover clustering, multipath I/O, and NIC teaming are
configured.

The host is renamed and the domain is joined.

PowerPath software is installed and volumes have been created.
