QUICK REFERENCE GUIDE:
To lock/arm using your transmitter
■
Pressing
for one second will lock the doors. The red LED will begin
to flash once per second. The optional Failsafe
®
Starter Kill will prevent
the vehicle’s starter from cranking if it has been installed. The vehicle’s
horn (if connected) will honk and the parking lights will flash once to
confirm arming of the system.
To unlock/disarm using your transmitter
■
To unlock the doors of the vehicle, press
for one second. The
optional Failsafe
®
Starter Kill will be deactivated and the vehicle’s horn
(if connected) will honk twice. The parking lights will flash twice to con-
firm disarming of the system.
Disabling the optional Failsafe
®
Starter Kill without a transmitter
■
To do this, you must have the vehicle's ignition key and know where the
Valet
®
switch is. Be sure to check with the installer for the location of
the Valet
®
switch. Turn on the ignition. Press and release the Valet
®
switch, within 10 seconds. The LED will stop flashing and the vehicle
should start.
To enter or exit Valet
®
Mode using your transmitter
■
Open any door. Press

again. The Status
LED will light steady if you have entered Valet
®
Mode. The LED will turn
off when exiting Valet
®
Mode.
To enter or exit Valet
®
Mode with the Valet
®
switch
■
Turn the ignition to the "on" position. Turn the ignition back off. Press
and release the Valet
®
button within 10 seconds. The Status LED will
light steady if you have entered Valet
®
Mode. To exit Valet
®
Mode, repeat
the steps above. The LED will turn off when exiting Valet
®
Mode.
