3. Installation
3.1 Tripod
In its as-delivered condition (transport position), the tripod is folded and firmly tightened. Unfold the
two outer braces and move them to their installation position (120°) to install the tripod.
At first, untighten locking screw No.1 (hexagon nut) of the relevant brace and remove it. Then, untighten
locking screw No. 2 of the relevant brace and move the two braces into their installation position (120°).
Firmly tighten the two outer braces by means of locking screws No.1 and 2 using a tightening torque
of 25 Nm (see Fig. 2).

3.2 Concrete base
Depending on the relevant total length of the supporting tubes and the possible wind loads, the
relevant number of concrete bases must be mounted at each brace anchor (see Table 2, page 6
and Fig. 3, page 7). If concrete bases are stacked on top of one another, the concrete fin (insertion
stop) at the lower end of the relevant concrete base must be removed (see Fig. 3, page 7).
