11 Troubleshooting
There are two types or error conditions, one the device can address automatically and one where the
operator or servie technician is called upon to interact with the unit.
Visualization of the errors detected in the unit is effected via error messages on the serial port, error
screens on the menu display, error texts in the status line or error codes. Error codes are displayed in
the status message and stored in the EEPROM-internal status word.
Error visualization is supported acoustically by a triple signal tone (alarm tone).
