Danger of injury due to improperly performed maintenance work!
Improperly executed maintenance work can lead to severe injuries and considerable material
damage.
Ensure sufficient assembly space before starting work.
Ensure correct assembly, if components had been disassembled. Reassemble all fastening
elements and comply with the specified tightening torques.
Have maintenance work only performed by persons who have the qualifications specified in the

DEGERtrackers have been designed for lifetimes in excess of 25 years.
They have been designed in such a way, that only minor service and repair work is required. However, to
achieve long-lasting operation, it is recommended to perform the following work in regular intervals:
Annually:
Check all bolts for secure fit and, if necessary, retighten with the tightening torque specified in the assembly
instructions.
Check of the operation of the system and its security features by the user.
Inspection of the bolts for corrosion. If necessary, they must be exchanged.
Visual inspection of all components for damage or deformation. Affected components or parts must be
exchanged.
Visual inspection of all components for damage of the zinc coating. Affected parts must be
cold-galvanized!
After two years, then every five years:
Lubricate the gearbox through the internal and external grease
nipples. From the factory the system is filled with the DEGER grease. This lubricant cannot be mixed with
other lubricants!
Elevation drive and central bolt on rotating head must not be greased!
The user is responsible for clearing the tracker of snow buildup. If necessary, this must be done manually.
