ZONE SELECTOR 1 - 6
The Socket can be set to operate on a single zone from 1 - 6. You may use more than one
Socket in the same zone. Make sure to set all the Sockets you want to use collectively to the
same zone number on the zone selector.
The properties of each zone is set up by you through our app or web page. You can easily set
the zone to switch mode, which switches Sockets connected to the zone ON and OFF as you
wish. Alternatively, the zone can be set to thermostat mode in combination with a Temperature
Sensor to function as a thermostat control for the heating appliances you connect to your
Socket. If you need frost protection, we recommend using thermostat mode.

ZONE LETTERS A, S and W
A: If you set a Socket to A, the power of the Socket will turn ON when any of the
DEFA Home alarm products are triggered. The power will turn OFF after a period of 90
seconds. Connect a siren, spotlight or similar equipment to use this feature.
S: If you set a Socket to zone S it will be turned ON when the main switch is set to HOME,
and turned OFF when the main switch is set to AWAY. Sockets in Zone S will not be
affected by the thermostat settings. Set Socket to zone 1 - 6 for thermostat control.
W: Not in use, reserved for future functions.
