THERMOSTAT CONTROL OF A ZONE
1. Set your Socket to the desired zone, between 1 and 6. Ensure that the zone chosen
has temperature monitoring either by Temperature Sensor or cabled sensor.
2. Log in to the DEFA app or web page to set the zone to thermostat mode.
3. Set up the desired savings and comfort temperature on the zone.
4. You may now switch the zone between savings and comfort settings, or use the
main switch for HOME and AWAY to switch between zone profiles collectively.
EXTEND YOUR WIRELESS RANGE
Your Socket has a built-in signal repeater that transmits signals from other wireless accessories
produced by DEFA Home, directly to your Base Unit DIY or Base Unit PRO with Radio Module.
If you're having trouble reaching wireless accessories placed behind thick or multiple walls, in
another floor, or even in another building, you can use the signal repeater in Socket to extend
the communication range to these wireless accessories.
To get the most out of the signal repeater functionality, place your Socket as close as possible
to the half way point between the Base Unit DIY or Radio Module and the wireless accessory
that has range issues.
If the distance between the two is larger than the communication capability of the Socket, the
range can be additionally extended by using multiple Sockets.
