Removing the HDD Assembly

To remove the HDD:

1.

Remove the keyboard (Figure 5-4 and 5-5).

2.

Slide the latch that holds the hard drive in place to the
unlocked position (Figure 5-6)..

3.

Pull up on the attached ribbon loop to disconnect the
drive and remove the drive from the system (Figure 5-
7).

NOTE: If the HDD assembly is installed upside down,
the screws on the assembly may get caught on some
plastic inside the system. To remove the drive slide a
piece of paper (yellow sticky) between the unit and the
plastic and slide the HDD assembly out of the system.
