5. Chassis
5.1 Rear Axle Removal
a) Disassemble the rear Wheel.
b) Remove the cotter pins on the rear wheel axle nut.
c) Remove the axle nut.
d) Block up the rear end of the machine.
e) Remove the rear wheel and hub assembly by sliding off
splines of the axle.
f) Remove the chain.
g) Loosen the nuts on the bearing carrier, and remove the
bolts.
h) Remove the axle and bearing carriers as a unit.
5.2 Rear Swing Arm Removal
Note:
The swing arm, axle and motor can be removed as a unit if needed.
a) Remove the rear. shock.
b) Remove the rear brake caliper, and set it aside.
Note
: Don’t remove the brake hose!
c) Unplug the brake light wiring from the electrical box.
d) Remove the throttle cable.
e) Remove the bolts from the swing arm pivot
f) Check the buffer rubber bushing for wear;
If there is any wear on the bushing, it should be replaced.
Please operate properly according to the instructions.
