Live Performance Mix: Dance club VJ

Text on diagram: This diagram shows one of many possible club VJ set ups, but could be adapted to any

performance event, such as a lecture/demonstration, mixed media performance, or even

live music video production; it assumes multiple audio and video inputs, an audience

viewing monitor, and simultaneous recording of the mix

Do this:

Connect the recorder, input, and monitor devices as shown.

Turn on all peripherals, then power up the SE-800. You can tell that the initialization cycle has

completed when the Main Video Source LEDs (

) and others are lit.

Jump to the next sections to finish set up procedures, and then explore the other basic functions

described below.
