printed circuit board
— An electronic circuit board sandwiched between
fiberglass plates.
program
— A series of instructions that command the computer to
perform certain tasks.
prompt
— A screen message or position of the cursor at the begin-
ning of a line.
RAM
— Random Access Memory; read/write memory.
The
memory in a computer while it is activated. When the
power is turned off, this type of memory is cleared.
