The “Combo Reader Setup” and “Advanced Combo Reader Setup” allow users to specify the
properties of the
“low frequency”
reader and to detect its current working state. The “Baud Rate”
field refers to the baud rate of the “low frequency” reader.
The “Combo Type” field allows users to modify the working-mode of the “low-frequency” reader. Just
select the desired mode and the corresponding command is immediately sent to the “low frequency”
reader (no need to press the SAVE button). Warning: this operation may take some seconds.
The “low-frequency” reader can be switched from s-ind9 to s-ind14 or vice versa (see low frequency
manual) by pressing the “SWITCH”-button. If the current working state of the” low-frequency” reader
does not allow this operation, the “SWITCH”-button is disabled and cannot be pressed. Depending on
the current “s-ind mode”, a set of configuration parameters is displayed onto the tab. To know the
meaning of these fields, read the R-IN 7500 manual.
