B - Radio Settings
Operating Mode:
Select the mode of operation for the unit.
•Base Station: Unit for connecting to with Station Adaptors or Wireless Repeaters.
•Station Adaptors: Unit will connect to Base Station or Wireless Repeaters.
•Wireless Repeater: Unit will act as a Base Station and repeater. Can connect to Base Stations or other Wireless
Repeaters using WDS and can also act as a Base Station to allow Station Adaptors to connect to it.
•Wireless Interbuilding: A proprietary communications that link each unit together using channel number for
network grouping.
Modulation:
Select between the modulation types, either OFDM or CCK.
Channel / Frequency:
Select the channel and frequency for the transmitter to use.
Options are limited by the selected Bandwidth.
Data Rate:
Select the data rate to use. Best will try to establish the highest speed connection, but will fall back to a lower
speed if that connection fails. Setting a lower rate can improve reliability in harsher environments.
