Read the instructions carefully before using the punching machine for the first time. The
handbook contains important information on installation, safety, use and maintenance to
prevent accidents and damage to the machine.
•
Keep this booklet safe: it may be necessary to refer to it or be needed by another
user.
•
Always use the machine in adequate lighting conditions.
•
Do not leave the machine unattended and switched on after use, but turn off the
power supply .
•
Maintain both the hands on the profile during the working.
•
During the use of one of the working stations, the protection devices of the other
operations have to remain closed.
•
It is forbidden to remove the safety guards other than for maintenance operations
Any defective parts must be replaced solely with original COMALL spare parts. Only
COMALL spare parts are able to completely satisfy the safety standards and to guarantee
proper machine working efficiency.
If any parts break down, do not use the punching machine and make it known to others that it
is out of service. For replacement parts contact COMALL .
Before proceeding with the machining phase certain checks must be made.
•
Check that there is compressed air in the system (CAUTION: for the recommended
air pressure see the CE plate).
•
Check the efficiency of the activation controls.
•
Check for any leaks in the punching machine circuit with or without support. (see
union couplings or tightening).
•
Lubricate the mechanical parts (COMALL OIL SPRAY or similar recommended).
•
Do not work in ATEX environments ( areas where there is the risk of explosion ).
•
Working temperature from 0° to + 40°.
•
Any time the machine has to be moved refer to paragraph 3.1.1
When carrying out maintenance do not dispose of any waste materials in the surrounding
environment, but comply with the requirements of current legislation.
Contact the manufacturer in the event of any doubts or for further clarification.
4.1 Safety stickers and residual risks
Any use other than that indicated in this handbook is to be considered unauthorised:
COMALL declines all responsibility for injury to persons or damage to objects caused by
improper machine use.
