Assembly
Screw the mounting bracket (6) securely to
the side of your gas barbecue using suitable
bolts, washers and nuts.
Check that the bracket is properly tightened.
Use
Attach the motor (7) securely to the
mounting bracket (6) and plug it in using a
suitable extension lead.
Light the barbecue.
Screw the two parts of the spit (5) together.
Push the fi xing part (2) over the spit and up
towards the handle (1).
Push a fork (4) over the spit so that the fork
points away from the spit handle. Secure the
fork in the desired position using the fi nger
screw on the slide (3).
Place the meat on the spit and make sure
that the fork penetrates it so that the meat
cannot move on the spit while it is rotating.
Push the other fork over the spit and push
it into the meat. Tighten the fi nger screw on
this fork as well.
Insert the spit’s square tip into the opening
on the motor and let the spit rest with the
fi xing part on the edge of the barbecue.
Turn the motor on so that the spit rotates and
the meat is cooked.
Turn the motor off , lift the spit off by the
handle and pull it out of the motor opening.
Place the meat on a suitable chopping board.
Loosen the fi nger screw on the outer fork
and pull the fork off . Then pull the spit and
the inner fork out of the meat.
NB!
Please be aware that the fi nger screws,
spit and forks can get very hot!
Cleaning
Wash the spit, forks and fi nger screws in hot
water with a little washing-up liquid.
