(or electronic shutter).

Timed The exposure duration time is set using the Exposure
Time feature and the expos ure s tarts with a
FrameStart event.
Trigger Width
TriggerWidth Uses the width of the trigger signal pulse to control
the expos ure duration. Use the Trigger Activation
feature to s et the polarity of the trigger.
The Trigger Width s etting is applicable with Trigger
Selector = Single Frame Trigger(Start). Note that the
Line Inverter feature s etting may affect the polarity of
the trigger s ignal and is only available when
expos ureAlignment = Res et.

E xposure Alignment s pecifies how the exposure is
executed in relationship to the s ensor c apabilities and
c urrent frame trigger.

Synchronous
Synchronous Exposure is synchronous to the internal timing of the
s ens or. The readout is concurrent to the expos ure for
the fas test possible frame rate. When a valid trigger is
received and the Expos ureTime is shorter than the
readout period, the Expos ureStart event is latched in
the previous frame’s readout. That is; the
Expos ureStartEvent is delayed and is initiated when
the actual expos ure s tarts s uch that the expos ure
ends and readout begins as soon as the previous
readout has completed.
Res et
Res et Sensor timing is reset to initiate exposure when a
valid trigger is received. Readout is sequential to
expos ure, reducing the maximum achievable frame
rates . That is , a trigger received during expos ure or
readout is ignored s ince data would be los t by
performing a res et.
E xposure Time
E xposureTime
Sets the exposure time (in microseconds) when the
E xposure Mode feature is set to Timed.
