➡ First, switch off the main circuit breaker of your electrical panel (fuse
box) or the individual breaker that controls the electrical circuit you
want to use for the Mountera® Box later on.
➡ Then, feed the earthing/grounding cable coming from your main
earthing terminal, the Ethernet cable of your existing LAN (shielded
RJ45 patch cable CAT.6 or higher) and your 3-conductor mains cable
through the provided cable glands.
➡ After that, follow the instructions below in the sequence described:
1. Connect your earthing/grounding cable to the Earthing/Grounding
connection point inside the Mountera® Box (see page 36).
2. Connect the power supply cable of your Panomera® system or camera
to the
Power Out terminal inside the Mountera® Box (see page 38).
3. Connect the required Ethernet cables to the LAN terminal inside the
Mountera® Box (see page 40 or page 42).
4. Connect your 3-conductor mains cable to the Power In terminal
inside the Mountera® Box (see page 44).

the lack of or improper earthing/grounding

➡ All work on the device (including the connection of peripheral equip-
ment) may only be carried out by qualified personnel and in a
voltage-free state (verify the absence of voltage).
➡ Carry out all protective measures for a standard-compliant earthing/
grounding of the device in accordance with the currently applicable
DIN, VDE and ISO standards in order to ensure the safety of persons
(protection against dangerous contact voltages).
➡ Observe the locally applicable regulations (regional and country-specific
legal requirements and standards) regarding the required minimum
cross-sections for all cables used.
