MCS use (optional)
The MCS is an automatic milk steaming system.
Thanks to the MCS, milk is heated at a pre-set temperature and the foam obtained can be compared
to the foam produced by the best baristas.
To use the MCS, it is sufficient to pour cold milk into a pitcher. Place the MCS wand into the milk and
rotate the M dial knob to its
position. As soon as the milk reaches the pre-set temperature (set
during machine installation), the MCS will stop automatically and the milk will be ready for use.
WARNING
Do not use the MCS if the wand
is oriented towards you or another
person.
NOTE
For MCS proper functioning,
the steam wand and its terminal
need to be cleaned properly after use.
It is also recommended to remove
the terminal from the steam wand,
clean it and put back in place at least
twice a day (depending on frequency
of use).
To obtain a good milk foam,
fill the pitcher with a quantity of milk
that covers at least the steam wand
terminal and place the wand
into the pitcher in a side of position,
so to help creating a vortex during
milk heating.
