1.1 Display Overview
The Fuelight
™
model number is described as follows:

= Outdoor Fuelight
™

= Drop In
The FL-4000 series includes
standard petroleum price displays,
employing a variable tenths digit.
The Petroleum Price displays are
“drop-in” displays, designed for
installation in an existing or
custom sign. Fuelight
™
cabinets,
specially developed for outdoor
use, are constructed of heavy-
gauge aluminum and feature black
faceplates. Displays are set directly
into the surface of the sign.
Fuelight
™
displays use LEDs to illuminate their numeric digits. LEDs are high-intensity, low-
energy lighting units. All Fuelight
™
displays are configured with amber, green, or red LEDs.
Figure 1 shows an example of a Fuelight
™
FL-4000 display.
