Use this checklist to ensure your Daktronics Aquatic Systems is operating properly and looking
as good as possible. We recommend completing these checks every six months, or whenever
you suspect an issue with your display. In most circumstances, the owner or operator of the
display should be able to complete this checklist. For additional information and
troubleshooting resources, see the appropriate manual for your display.
Checklist Task
Key Points
OmniSport 2000
o
Visually inspect the OmniSport for damage/corrosion. (indicators, switches,
knobs, and connections).
o
Ensure keypad buttons are all functional.
o
Verify that thermal paper is installed in printer location and
feeds/prints correctly.
o
Power up OmniSport console to verify firmware is up to date
(update if needed).
Must be newer than 8.3.27 to update in the field.
o
Perform Mock swim race after completing checklist to verify all inputs and
outputs are working (including scoreboard/RTD data).

On-deck Equipment
(lane modules)
o
Visually inspect lane modules for damage/corrosion. (connections,
connector, and cable).
o
If equipment shows signs of corrosion, train customer (if available) proper
cleaning of lane modules using the brass brush (TH-1024/TH-1025) and
silicone grease (LU-1002).
