KEYPAD DESCRIPTION
1.
IN USE LED:
Pick up handset or press
key, the
IN USE
LED is light.
2.
LCD:
Liquid Crystal Display.
3.
MENU:
In standby mode, press this key to enter menu setting. During menu setting, press the key to
confirm setting.
4.
UP/CID:
In standby mode, press this key to enter incoming call list, then scroll up the list. During menu
setting mode, press this key to scroll up options.
5.
HOLD:
In off-hook state, press it to active/deactivate the hold mode.
6.
DOWN/OUT:
In standby mode, press the key to enter outgoing call list, then scroll down the list.
During menu setting mode, press this key to scroll down options.
7.
M1-M4:
One-touch memory keys.
8.
:
Active/deactivate speakerphone.
9.
REDIAL/P:
After seize line, press the key firstly to redial the last dialed number. During dial number,
press this key to insert the pause time between two digits.
10.
NEW LED:
When a new call comes in, the
NEW
LED is flashing. When there is missed call which
unreceived, the
NEW
LED is blinking in several seconds interval.
11.
DEL:
Shortly press the key to delete digit or character input one by one. Press it one or more time to
exit the setting mode.
12.
BOOK:
Access to phonebook.
13.
MEMORY:
Recall the two-touch memory numbers.
14.
STORE:
Store the one touch and two-touch memory.
15.
NUMERICAL KEY:
Alphanumeric keys in keyboard.
16.
R:
Flash function/press it to exit the pre-dial state.
17.
LINE:
Connection for telephone cable.
18.
EXT:
Extension telephone line.
19.
RING:
Slide the switch to set ringer volume HI (high), LOW, OFF.
20.
VOLUME:
Slide the switch to set speakerphone volume HI (high), MID (middle), LOW.
GETTING STARTED
Installation
1.
The unit requires the 3×1.5V AA batteries. Open the battery compartment cover and insert batteries in
the right polarity, then close the cover (proposal using alkaline battery).
2.
Take out handset and coiled cord, then plug coiled cord one end into handset modular jack, and plug
the other end into the relevant jack on the base.
3.
Take out telephone line cord, plug one end of line cord into the
LINE
slot at the bottom of base unit,
and plug the other end into the telephone line socket of extension socket.
4.
Lift the handset and check for dial tone in earpiece.
Note
: Please remember to set the dialing mode to correct mode according to the directions from your local
telecom.
MAKING A CALL
From handset
1.
Pick up the handset.
2.
When you hear the dial tone, dial the desired number to make a call.
3.
The LCD will start the talking time after 6 seconds.
4.
To end the call, return the handset to the base.
