candle to remove odor. An open flame or spark may
cause an explosion or fire.
• If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by
the manufacturer or a qualified service technician in
order to avoid a safety hazard.

Discard old appliances in accordance with all regulations
in force. Refrigerants must be disposed of by a licensed,
EPA certified refrigerant technician in accordance with
applicable laws and procedures.

even if they sit out for “just a few days.”
If you are getting rid of your old refrigerator, please follow
the steps below to help prevent accidents or accidental
deaths:
Before you throw away your old refrigerator or freezer:
1. Take off the door(s).
2. Leave the racks in place so children cannot easily
climb inside.
