Administrating the DWR-500
Command Line Interface Access
Console connection to the DWR-500 is the most
reliable means to gain access and configure the
DWR-500. Locate the five pin console cable terminal
and uncap the connector protector on the DWR-500.
Connect the five pin Ethernet cable to the DWR-500
console port as shown in Figure 22. Connect the
other end of the console cable to a laptop. To start
the Command Line Interface (CLI), configure your
terminal to the following settings as shown in Table
4. The login details are in Table 5.

IP Based Access
The DWR-500 default IP address is 192.168.0.1, with subnet mask of 255.255.255.0 on port 0. To access
the DWR-500 administration, set the connecting computer to a static IP address in the same subnet.
To connect via SSH to DWR-500 using the default IP
address as shown in Figure 23, supply the login
details as shown in Table 5.
