Burst Size (bytes) –
The amount of bytes that can be forwarded back-to-back
faster than normal speed. If the value is 0, the device uses a predefined value. The
default size is 0. If the burst size value is 0, the value for
minDelayPerSession
and
minDelay
is
1,536 bytes.
MinbandwidthGuarantee
and
BandwidthGuarantee
are
forwarded with a value of 3x 1,536 bytes.
To add a new profile:
1. Display
the
QOS Profile Table.
2. Double-click an empty row in the
QOS Profile Table
.

Insert Profile
window opens. The
Insert Profile
window has two tabs:
Main tab –
Displays the main options for assigning profiles including the profiles
description, type, rate, maximum sessions, and new Vpt. The default tab is the
Main
tab.
Advanced tab –
Displays advanced options for assigning profiles including new
ToS and burst size.
3. Complete the fields. The fields are the same as the
Profile Table
as described above.
4. Click . The
Insert Profile
window closes.
5. Click to update the device. When the Status field displays “Finished!” the profile is
saved to the device.
