Software Update

The Software Update panel, shown in , is used to update the software on the DES-
5600. Software can be updated using either XMODEM or TFTP.

TFTP requires a TFTP server and that you know the Internet Protocol (IP) address
of the server and the complete path and file name. TFTP can be done over the
network or from a remote location.

Download Mode

Is the mode that will be used to download new software.

Download File

Is the type of file you can download. Run_Time_Program refers the software that
runs the DES-5600.

TFTP Server IP Address

Is the address of the TFTP server you are downloading code from.
