Purpose

Used to configure the System IP interface.

Syntax

config ipif [ipaddress <network address> |
{gw <ipaddress>} | dhcp {vid <vlan_id>}]

Description

This command is used to configure the System
IP interface on the Switch.

Parameters

ipaddress <network address> -

IP address and

netmask of the IP interface to created. You can
specify the address and mask information using
traditional format (for example,

192.168.100.100/255.255.255.0 of in CIDR

dhcp -

Allows the selection of the DHCP protocol

for the assignment of an IP address to Switch’s
system IP address.

<vlan_id> -

Specific the 802.1Q VLAN ID to the
