Before contacting CYTA, please read the following instructions. If the Set-Top Box does not work normally after completing
the following troubleshooting please contact CYTA support services.
Make sure that the SCART/HDMI™
Cable is firmly connected to the TV.
Check that the TV is using the input
associated to the STB.
Reboot the DSL modem and then
reboot the STB (Refer to section
“How to reboot the STB”)
Make sure that the SCART/HDMI™
Cable is firmly connected to the TV.
Make sure to avoid putting a mobile
phone or microwave oven near the
equipment.
Follow the instructions as displayed
on the video screen
Check the volume level of the TV and
STB. Check the Mute status of the TV
service. Reboot the DSL modem and
then reboot the STB (Refer to section
“How to reboot the STB”)
To control the STB from the remote
control remember to directly point
towards the receiving part of STB’s IR
sensor. Check that the STB remote
control is on STB mode. Check the
battery of the remote control.
Software or Connectivity problems
Hardware or Software problems
TV and STB are not connected
properly or TV doesn’t work correctly
The volume of the STB has been
dramatically decreased from Echo Pro
remote control
Hardware or Software problems.
Platform problems
Generic Error Message shown on
TV screen
Poor picture & sound quality
No image is displayed on
TV screen
