1. MAINS SUPPLY
Operate the Set-Top Box only with the type of power
source indicated on the marking label. Disconnect
the product from the mains before you start any
maintenance or installation procedures. Power supply
provided within the package has the following
characteristics:

Input: 100/240 V AC 50/60 Hz 0,6A max
•
Output: 12 V DC, 1.5 A MAX
2. OPERATING CONDITIONS
Use the Set-Top Box under the following environmental
conditions:
•
Operating Temperature: from 0 °C to 40 °C
•
Operating Humidity: up to 80%

This Set-Top Box has been manufactured to comply
with international safety standards. Please read the
following safety precautions carefully.
3. OVERLOADING
Do not overload a wall outlet, extension cord or
adapter as this may result in electric shock or fire.
4. LIQUIDS
The Set-Top Box should not be exposed to any liquids
such as dripping or splashing. In addition, no objects
filled with liquids (e.g. a vase), should be placed on the
apparatus.
5. CLEANING
Disconnect the Set-Top Box from the wall outlet before
cleaning. Use a light damp cloth (no solvents) to dust it.
Periodically clean rubber washers in order to keep firm
standing of the Set-Top Box on the surface.
6. VENTILATION
The slots on top of the Set-Top Box must not be covered
to allow proper airflow to the unit. Do not place the
Set-Top Box on soft furnishings or carpets. Do not stack
electronic equipment on top of it.
7. CONNECTION TO THE TV-SET
Connect all components before plugging in the power
cord on the wall outlet. Always turn off the Set-Top
Box, TV and other components before you connect or
disconnect any cables.
8. LOCATION
Place the Set-Top Box indoors to avoid exposing it to
unprotected environment.

Do not place it near a radiator or heat register.
•
Make sure it has more than 10 cm clearance from any
appliances susceptible to electromagnetic influence,
such as a TV or a VCR.
•
Do not block the openings on the Set-Top Box with
any object, and do not place the product on a bed,
sofa, rug, or other similar surface.
•
If you place the Set-Top Box on a rack or bookcase,
ensure that there is adequate ventilation and that
you have followed the correct instructions for
mounting.
