Check that the light on the remote handset are flashing when the
buttons are pressed. Check you are using the correct lighting
procedure as detailed in earlier section.
Check operation with the manual wall switch.
Appliance does not
respond to
commands from the
remote control
handset.
Check that the IR receiver is correctly positioned with dome face
outwards.
If the light on the
remote control does
not flash.
Replace batteries. If dropped – buy new handset.
Check that the internal fire batteries are fully charged.
If the light on the
remote control
handset does flash.
Try the manual switch. If the appliance works purchase new hand set
or magic eye.
