Throttle Operation
Your scooter’s motor speed is controlled by an on-demand, variable speed, Twist Grip
style throttle. That means the further you twist the throttle towards the rider, the faster the
motor will propel you until reach the scooter’s top speed of about 15 mph. The throttle is
located on the handlebar just to the left/inside of the right hand handlebar grip.
• To accelerate or go faster - twist the throttle backwards or towards the rider.
• Twisting the throttle all the way backwards, until it stops rotating freely, will give
you full power. (This also uses the most battery power of any throttle position.)
• To go slower - partially twist the throttle backwards until you find your safe and
comfortable speed.
• To decelerate or slow down - completely release the throttle.
• Remember: Always fully release the throttle lever when you apply the brake.
• When you release the throttle, it will spring back / return to the off position.
