3. Galvanized Fan Specifications
Rough in Openings
These are the exact sizes, including the protruding screw heads, for the openings for the fans. They do
not include any extra clearance for installation. Any extra clearance should be added as desired to these
numbers for frame size opening. Weights given are the maximum weight prior to shutter installation.
All of the above slant fans have a flat “step” at the flange and then begin to drop at 15°, except for the
36" cone fan, which begins the 15° drop right at the flange. It’s horizontal mounting materials should also
be tilted to 15°.
