6. Troubleshooting Guide
Symptom Probable Cause(s) Corrective Action(s)
Excessive noise.
Defective motor bearing.
Defective pillow block bearing.
Parts are not securely anchored.
Damaged fan blade.
Replace.

Check all bolts, screws and fasteners.
De-energize fan. Turn prop and check tip
clearance. Do they appear to be approximately the
same? (
NOTE: They can be a little different without
any problems. ) If they are significantly different,
contact your distributor for more information.
Fan inoperative.
Electricity is turned OFF.
Belt is broken.
Defective motor.
Open power supply circuit.
Contact local utility supplier.

Replace fuse or reset circuit breaker. Check for
disconnected, cut or damaged power cord.
